In essence, the writing here revolves around the Tao, the infinite game. The world, as we know, crowns winners as master players. The Tao bets on losers. Not because they lose, but because they learn to let go. Ultimately, the infinite game is about learning to let go happily. It’s about cultivating failure until you’ve become a complete zero and no longer fear the fall into the eternal abyss, but rather live and love it. As Lao Tzu said:
In the pursuit of knowledge,
something is added every day.
In the practice of the Tao,
something is taken away every day.
We are a network of authors from all over the world. Our target audience are all those who are open to discovering new horizons. We live in a time in which depth is threatened with being abolished. The price we pay for this is unspeakably high. Because when we stop discovering new horizons within ourselves, the journey is no longer a journey. No matter how much we fly around the world, we are no longer flying, but rather being flown, while we sit for 10 hours in economy class, staring at the miniature monitors in front of our big noses. And when we finally arrive at the other end of the world, we haven’t really arrived. Because we never even started flying.
It’s no secret, the world is in a deep crisis. Basically, no one understands what’s going on here anymore. Perhaps we need to start from scratch. Forget what we think we know and, with childlike curiosity, pursue the simple question of what life actually is. Who and what we really are. What our own nature is like.
Perhaps awareness is our greatest asset, and expanding it is the greatest gift to ourselves. And perhaps it starts with small things. With the kind of newspaper we read for breakfast. With the kind of questions we ask ourselves. With the kind of journey we understand human life to be.
Let’s face it: In this world, the will to deceive and thus ignorance reigns. Therefore, it’s better to keep quiet, even if you know better than your father, your neighbor, or the expert. You learn this lesson as a child.
If you don’t want to keep quiet, you’d rather remain anonymous. That’s how our authors handle it, at least – and unanimously so. This is also the reason why our publishing house will never be listed in any commercial register, and our print products will never end up in bookstores. It would also be downright absurd to try to integrate a force that exposes and thus undermines society into society.
At least, that’s the situation today. Regardless of where you look. There simply isn’t yet a society or a significant collective that would treat and guide people, human existence, and the world itself in the spirit of deeper and higher truth. Simply because people don’t want that kind of leadership at all. And they don’t even consider that everything, this whole world, all of life, could be completely different.
You can’t paint new pictures with templates; old paths never lead to new territory. And so, for the time being, the world is bunkered in the past. Inner growth doesn’t exist here; evolution stands still. There is pseudo-growth in the sense of so-called “self-improvement” at the level of the individual, and pseudo-growth in the sense of so-called “world improvement” at the level of the collective. But all of this is pure theater, played out on the stage of time—in the bunker of the past.
We will operate under the table, but we still want to deliver quality. Digital versions of our magazine would, of course, be easy to create – but we believe that most people still prefer printed versions – just like our authors do. But we may be wrong. It would be great if you let us know what you prefer by pre-ordering or via the contact-form!
